Kate Voelker joined RiverBend as a volunteer in
2000. She served in that capacity until 2005 when
she began oversight of the marketing and fundraising
aspects of RiverBend. Kate was appointed director in
November 2007 and is responsible for administration,
program development, fundraising and marketing-with
the support of the board of directors.

Judy Kobb is a licensed mental health
counselor (LMHC) and a national certified
counselor. She has worked with patients and
families with serious or chronic illness for
nearly seventeen years. Ms. Kobb's clinical
interests and expertise include anxiety and
depressions disorders, family dynamics
related to chronic illness, grief and loss
issues, issues at the end of life and
solution-focused brief therapy. She received
a masters degree in counseling and human
services and a bachelor's degree in social
work from Indiana University and has been
with RiverBend since 2000.

Meggan joined RiverBend Cancer Services
as an intern in the summer of 2007. She
assisted with database management and
special events over the summer and continued
in that capacity over the winter. In May
2008, immediately after graduation from
Saint Mary's College, Meggan joined the
organization full time. Her responsibilities
are divided between administrative support
for patients services like our support
groups and educational programs as well as
special events and fundraising.
